How I got started Personalizing Everything
I have always loved a good monogram. After I graduated from Lynn U, I became hesitant to buy monogrammed or personalized things. How much longer was I going to be a single girl? What would I do with all of my monogrammed things when I got married? What would my new monogram even be?!
{Then, I got engaged to the love of my life.}
I was quickly wrapped up in wedding planning, personalizing everything with our couples monogram, and secretly stashing away a treasure trove of things I had been dying to buy-- with my new monogram, of course!
It wasn't enough to have everything personalized; I knew exactly what I wanted, and I started having a hard time finding it. I wanted simple, elegant cards to thank everyone in our wedding party to match our wedding colors. I wanted pastry boxes with our monogram as our wedding favor, monogrammed place cards, signature cocktail signs, and "Do Not Disturb" signs for hotel guests that would match it all.
I am proud to say that by the end of the process, not only was I able to do all of those things (and more!) myself, but I was able to start my own business doing it for other people, too. My business has exploded into items for wedding as well as helping my fellow preppy girls personalize everything. Armed with my iMac, Day Designer planner (shoutout to my Day Designer girls-- I LOVE personalizing your planners, too!), and my die cut machine, my ultimate goal is to Personalize Everything.
You never know when something new is going to come along or when you will find your niche. When it does, you'll know it, and I am so glad to have found mine.
