Finally, an item up for sale! (And an item sold!)

Yesterday, after a trip to my local craft store, I came home to make some Christmas ornaments for a few of my favorite doggies. I had no intention of selling any of them, and I was really doing it just for fun. After sending a photo to a friend, she insisted that I get them up on Etsy. I did, and within a half hour, I had sold two; my first Etsy sale!

Initial Production

I have been a busy bee getting things ready for what I am referring to as my initial offering! :) 

Cupcake wrappers for Thanksgiving and Christmas have been cut and assembled for photos. I also cut some in a few other generic prints for birthdays and everyday cupcake fixes. 

I have made one Junior League Tervis tumbler, but I am waiting for others to be delivered in different sizes before I post them up to Etsy. Are there any other customizations that you could like to see? 

I can't wait to show off all of this frosting!

"Frost It All" is Born

I have always been a little crafty. I love scrapbooking, any sort of arts and crafts project, and anything that I could tie a ribbon on or monogram. When the company that I was working for decided to move their headquarters across the country, I decided to take this opportunity to do something that I have thought about for a long time. I am going to frost it all. 

The name Frost It All actually comes from the 90's movie, How to Lose a Guy in Ten Days. I am sure you have seen it-- but if you haven't-- Matthew McConaughey's character, a total ladies man, works in an advertising agency where they are trying to win a campaign for a diamond distributer. Finally, McConaughey comes up with the slogan, "Frost Yourself"; everyone loves it; McConaughey gets the girl; roll the credits. 

In the movie, frost yourself refers to diamonds. I am stretching the slogan to refer to just about anything that needs that something extra. At Frost It All, I am starting small with cupcake wrappers, tervis tumbers, some Junior League swag, and vinyl stickers. Soon, I hope to be offering embroidery and custom stationary, among other things. The possibilities are endless.
